More Story Time Picks

Hello Everybody!
Happy Monday! Here are some really great new story time picks for this week:

Michelle Obama
(STARTS TODAY!) Mondays (11 am EDT,) 17:00 Berlin Time. Michelle Obama reads her favorite children’s book on 4 consecutive Mondays. The first book is The Gruffalo.
This storytime is livestreamed on PBS KIDS Facebook, the PBS KIDS YouTube channel & Penguin Random House.

Save With Stories
Celebrities such as Jude Law, Kate Winslet, Lin-Manuel Miranda, and Chris Evans read favorite children’s books. It’s all part of an effort to ensure that no child goes hungry. Donations are encouraged, which support Save the Children and No Kid Hungry in their efforts to keep brains and bellies full. New stories are posted daily on the #SaveWithStories Instagram and Jennifer Garner’s Facebook page.

David Walliams
is releasing a free kids’ audiobook every day for 30 days including his “World’s Worst” series and Bertha the Blubberer:

Drag Story Time Hour
Cozy up on the couch and watch drag performers, including Angelina D’amor, Anita Manager, Frankie Cyanide, Miss Chevious, Robin Richards, and Sienna Rose, read a family-friendly story.
Saturdays (11am Eastern,) 17:00 Berlin Time.


Lolly Hopwood performs a LIVE interactive story time for little ones. She plays original and classic kids’ songs, reads fun & engaging children’s books, and uses adorable puppets to create a sweet environment. These events are free, but donations are appreciated if you are able.
10 am EST, 16:00 Berlin Time

Tom Hardy
Reads bedtime stories from his garden on BBC. CBeebies Bedtime Stories in on each weekday at 7.50pm CDT on the CBeebies channel and is also available on BBC iPlayer

John R. Erickson
Children’s author of Hank the Cowdog reads his stories from his ranch in Texas, complete with actual cowdogs frolicking in the background.…

Bravo’s Book Nook
Each Tuesday a children’s book is selected and read aloud on Bravo’s Book Nook Facebook Live stream, accompanied by Bravo Bell the resident pup, mood-booster and Director of First Impressions for The Players Theatre in NYC. Michael, a professional composer and musician, composes scores to perform with each reading. Ages 3-10. 2pm Eastern, 20:00 Berlin time.
