Hello Everyone! Happy Saturday!
This weekend and until the 31st of August, we can virtually visit the Edinburgh International Book Festival with over 100 events for children and adults for free!

The program offers both live and pre-recorded conversations featuring leading writers, poets, and participants from around the world, including storytelling with the author and illustrator of the Gruffalo, Julia Donaldson and Axel Schaeffer on Saturday the 15th, and a discussion with Cressida Crowell, author of How to Train Your Dragon on August 30th (ages 9+) Don’t miss Drawing with Rob Biddulph (ages 4+) on August 30th: To get an idea of his work, here you can see his website Draw with Rob: http://www.robbiddulph.com/draw-with-rob with tons of fun drawing tutorials to watch online. On 21 May 2020 he broke the Guinness World Record for the largest online art lesson when 45,611 participants drew a whale with him! Pretty cool!

One of our favorite children’s book authors Oliver Jeffers will be reading from his new book “What We’ll Build” on August 31st.

Check out the Edinburgh Book Festival website for these and many more events for kids. Guests can chat with fellow Festival-goers via digital chatrooms and take part in Q&A sessions. Select events give guests a chance to meet the author and get books signed.
All events are British Standard Time.
