If you have a tween or teen (between the ages of 10-14) who loves to write, they can apply to be a Scholastic Kid Reporter. Since 2000, their award-winning young journalists have reported “news for kids, by kids,” covering politics, entertainment, the environment, sports, and more in their hometowns. Their stories appear online and in issues of Scholastic Classroom Magazines, which reach more than 25 million students.
They accept applications from around the world. The next deadline to apply is March 2021: https://kpcnotebook.scholastic.com/page/about-scholastic-kids-press
