Apfelfest at Schloss Britz

Hi Parents! Happy Saturday! Some of you have been wondering about apple picking this time of year. You might want to check out the “Historic” Apple Festival at the Schloss Britz in Neukölln this weekend: It’s a bit of a mix of a renaissance fair and harvest festival. It will take place Saturday and Sunday the 10th and 11th of October all day with two time slots on each day: On Saturday from 10-15:30, and 15:30 til 21:00, and Sunday 10-14:30 and 14:30-19:00. Entry fee is 6€ for grown ups and 3€ for kids. They will have a full children’s program with clowns, jugglers, pony rides, fairy tale theater, stilt-walkers, a giant trampoline, and shooting with bow and arrows. Press apples into juice, check out the many different apple varieties, experience ax-throwing (I don’t know if this is just a show or they let you try it as well!), enjoy music performances, and at night on Saturday there will be a fire show.
