Hi Parents! Happy Saturday!
Have a tough time getting the kids to bed? Scholastic has put together a worksheet inspired by the book Llama Llama Red Pajama by Anna Dewdney, where kids draw their own bedtime routine. http://www.judynewmanatscholastic.com/blog/2019/10/classroom-activity-llama-llama-red-pajama/. If you don’t have a printer, kids can just draw on a blank sheet of paper.
If you are unfamiliar with the book, Little Llama had a really hard time going to sleep, but with a consistent, comforting bedtime routine, he was reassured that everything would be okay.
This site also features a video from the Director of the Pajama Program developmental psychologist Carol Ripple’s discussing Llama Llama Red Pajama and the importance of a consistent bedtime routine.
