Write about a Landmark

Hi Parents!

New Victory Theater put together this great idea for an outdoor adventure for kids to find a local landmark and write a made up history about it. It doesn’t have to be a statue or sculpture: It could also be a tree or a rock or a work of urban art. It is a great way to inspire ideas and connect with the community. Watch the video by New Victory Teaching Artist Marisol Rosa‑Shapiro:

You will need something to write with and a clipboard or book to put under your paper, an envelope and stickers, stamps or washi-tape to decorate it.
