The Haus Natur und Umwelt in the Wühlheide will be celebrating Welt Kindertag with a free entry on Tuesday June 1st, and a celebration on Friday June 6th. The party includes face painting and a “Schaumkuss Weitwurf Maschine”—kids try to hit a target and test the aerodynamics of sweet foam “kisses”. Another highlight is the animal feedings at 11, 13, and 16:00. They will have roasted marshmallows over a campfire and will also be cooking on the grill.
They are open from 10-15:30 on the 1st and 10-18:00 on the 6th.
You can enter with a face mask, but if you want to go to the Café you will need a negative Corona test. You can get tested on location. Otherwise you can get drinks and snacks to go. The cost is 3,50€ on the 6th, and only a requested donation on the 1st. For more info and directions, go to their website.
