Hi Everyone! It’s supposed to be warm this weekend, so would be a great time to take a little trip outside Berlin and check out the Waldorado festival. Directly on the Däbersee in the Märkischen Schweiz in Brandenburg (about 1.5 hours east from the center of Berlin by car or regional train) the Waldorado is an inclusive family festival of music, art, theater, and dance to experience and take part in.

There are so many cool things to do with your kids including family yoga, swimming*, checking out the honey bees, a puppet workshop, bat hike, tango, kick-boxing, fishing, rap workshop, rocket workshop, making music together, parkour, a baby oasis, bubble disco, a clown shows and storytelling, bubbles and bobby cars, regional food and more. Check out their website for the full program on each day.

Saturday is 10-21:00 and Sunday from 9-13:00. A day ticket is 3-6,60€ for kids depending on the day you want to go and 5,50-11€ for adults. Family tickets are also available for 2 adults and up to 4 children for 13,20-26,40€. Children under 3 are free. There is no bank machine on site so you should bring cash. * (Strandbad tickets need to be purchased separately.)

Please note we are not paid to advertise and cannot attest to the quality of the event listed or your particular experience. Let us know if you go, or send us a message if you have any other fun family tips.
