Spring Festivals

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday! Happy Spring! And don’t forget to “spring forward” tonight!

This weekend at the Museumsdorf Düppel you can take park in a spring festival that includes jugglers, fairy tales, a parade to drive away the winter, music, a campfire with Stockbrot, and puppet crafts with a theme of the Middle Ages. It goes from 11-16:30 daily, costs 5€ for entry and up to age 18 is free. (See featured image)

The Spring festival at Kurt-Schumacher-Damm started on March 23rd and goes until April 24th. This is a busy fair with rides, a mirror labyrinth, food stands, and games. 3G Rules. Wednesday and Thursday from 14 -22:00,Friday and Saturday 14-23:00, Sunday from 13- 22:00(Easter Sunday: 13 -23:00, Easter Monday: 13-22:00, Closed Good Friday.) There will be an Easter market of handcrafts at Karl-August-Platz on the 3rd of April. A big Easter bonfire is lit in the Britzer Garten on Easter Saturday (16 April). Here you can also look for Easter eggs or take part in the Easter egg hanging on the fruit tree meadow on 11 April, just in time for the Britzer Baumblüte, which is celebrated from 8 to 24 April.

On 8 and 9 April, you can create Sorbian Easter eggs with quill pens and beeswax at the printmaking studio in Dietrich-Bonhoeffer-Strasse. Fr. or Sa. 08.—09. April, flexible times from 10—20 Uhr (plan about an hour per egg, and 9€ for all materials per egg.)
