Hello Everyone! Hope you are enjoying your Fall holidays! As promised, here are some spots you can appease your pumpkin cravings and get in the Halloween spirit!
You may be weary of online events, but there is a FREE online pumpkin carving event in ENGLISH from the Awesome English language school on October 23rd from 15-16:30. You will need: a pumpkin (of course), a spoon, a sharp knife, and a bowl. If you want to roast the pumpkin seeds you will also need salt and oil.

The Spargelhof Klaistow has a Pumpkin Exhibit and Pumpkin Market every year where the pumpkins are assembled into fantastic sculptures. It goes until the 7th of November, but their last on-site flea market this year will be on October 24th. There are cool rides, a petting zoo, a corn labyrinth, giant playground, restaurants, and a climbing area.
Karl’s Erlebnis Dorf in Elstal is a full-on really fun amusement park and this time of year also has pumpkins on exhibit and for sale. In addition to all the regular rides and games (including a tractor ride on a guided track so even the littlest ones can “drive”), they have a haunted house in their barn until October 31st, pumpkin carving and throwing, and pumpkin specialities in their restaurant and shop.
Späth Baumschule in the south of Berlin has a free pumpkin exhibit that goes until the start of November with over 100 varieties of pumpkin on show. You can purchase edible, decorative and carving pumpkins. They are open Monday to Saturday from 9-18:00 and Sunday from 11-17:00/ Their shop is full of regional specialities and gifts and there is a small sculpture garden as well.
