Halloween in Berlin

Hi Everyone! Happy Saturday!

Wondering what to do for Halloween? While it’s more of an American tradition, the holiday is catching on in Germany and your kids may be allowed to dress up for Kita or school, and some shops and other neighborhood locales participate in the Trick or Treating (“Sußes oder Saures” here)–many shops will find it hard to say no to a well-costumed child at any rate!

Here are a few events where you will be sure to have some creepy Halloween fun with the kids:

In Freilander Britz, they will be celebrating Halloween with crafts and a haunted obstacle course on the 30th, from 15-18:00, for kids 6+. Sangerhauser Weg 1, 12349 Berlin-Neukölln. Sunday the 26th, they also have a Pumpkin Fest at the Festplatz at the lake in Britzer Garden. For more info, you can download their program.
