Here’s a short 4 minute listen from NPR, called “Hanukkah isn’t Jewish Christmas” introducing the new children’s book “The Hanukkah Magic of Nate Gadol,” by Arthur Levine in which the author creates his own myth and magic of the roots of gift-giving on Hanukkah, rooted in empathy and generousity. It is beautifully illustrated by Kevin Hawkes.
