Hi Everyone!
Don’t miss it! Kids can craft Bristlebots (free with museum entry) at the Technisches Museum on Sunday February 27th from 13-16:00. It’s a great museum to visit with your kids anyway, if you haven’t been yet. Entry to the Science museum is included as well.
If you can’t make it there on Sunday, you can make your own at home. Arrow Electronics has a great tutorial for Bristlebots from the 2016 Maker Faire using a toothbrush, a microcell vibrator motor, a 3 volt battery, scissors, duct tape, wire cutters, putty (or Bluetac), pipe cleaners, and google eyes. Science Buddies has a video of some fun easy robots you can make at home with your kids. Visit their website for the instructions and lists of materials.
Let us know if you know of any other cool robot projects for kids and be sure check back for more fun posts.
